i'm trying to love people more. i really want to be good at that.

i believe in Jesus.

i believe that He is in control.

i believe that He is good and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

i believe that He has saved my soul in spite of all the filth i am.

i believe that He listens.

i believe that He answers prayers. not to appease our short-lived desires, but in ways that provide for and protect our heart’s deepest needs.

i believe that miracles are real and i believe that God still uses them to reach people.

i believe that God hates religion.

i believe that Jesus still wants you.

i believe that God is never wrong and the human heart always is.

i know that my King, Jesus Christ, has conquered death.

He is not to be pitied. He is not to be ignored.

But, oh, is He patient with our stubborn hearts.

I believe there is power in His name.
